SINGAPORE (May 10, 2016) - RCI, the worldwide leader in vacation exchange and part of the Wyndham Worldwide family of brands (NYSE:WYN), recently welcomed three new resorts in Japan to its vacation exchange network through an affiliation agreement with Cest la vie Resort Izumigo, bringing exciting new destination options in Japan to its 3.8 million global exchange members.
"Japan continues to be a popular destination among RCI members, and we are delighted to welcome three more resorts to our exchange network in Japan, growing RCI's network in the country to a total of 10 affiliated resorts," said Jonathan Mills, managing director of RCI Asia Pacific. "Our new affiliation with Izumigo is an affirmation that more Japanese developers are seeing the benefits of vacation ownership as a business model, and we look forward to a long and mutually beneficial relationship with Izumigo."
The three newly affiliated resorts will offer RCI members the opportunity to experience a different side of Japan, an alternative to the popular tourist cities such as Tokyo and Kyoto.

Locatedin Azumino, Nagano Prefecture, Hotel Ambient Azumino overlooks the beautiful landscape of the Japanese Alps, providing hotel guests a spectacular view that changes each season. Each spacious unit comes with a kitchen and a Japanese tatami room that allows extra guests to sleep on futon mattresses. There is a Japanese restaurant and a French restaurant in the hotel that each offer flavorful dishes using fresh local ingredients. Several tourist attractions are located within a 30-minute drive from the resort, such as the Azumino National Park, Hotaka Shrine and Hotaka River. "It is a great pleasure to be affiliated with RCI," said Mr. Hideo Ema, president, Cest La Vie Resort Izumigo. "It has become much easier to travel overseas in recent years and we are seeing a change in domestic tourist behavior, including an increased demand for overseas travel among the younger generation. With this new partnership, Izumigo is committed to offering a variety of new vacation options to consumers and we are very excited about the potential business opportunities it may bring."
